This report draws together detailed findings from eight case studies undertaken with successful, community-led projects which aim to tackle environmental incivilities in neighbourhoods across the UK.
The report analyses the eight different local approaches developed in response to the specific circumstances of the local community, and highlights a number of common factors for success as well as challenges faced. The findings of this report have informed our
Policy Summary: ‘
Pride in Place: Tackling Environmental Incivilities, Local Environmental Problems and Wellbeing’ which calls upon national environmental charities, government and funders to consider how they can support and empower more communities to take on environmental incivilities in their own area.
