Local Environmental Problems And Wellbeing - A Case Study Of Action
This case study profiles the Tipton Litter Watch campaign.
Tipton Litter Watch was formed by local residents in 1997 to campaign against litter and put pressure on the local authority to take action to tackle it. The group has evolved over time moving from a campaigning organisation to one that takes direct action to reduce litter - including the development of an educational programme which is now delivered in every school in the area.
